Obverse description: IMP C M AVR VAL MAXIMIANVS P F AVG. Radiate, cuirassed bust right, with prominent shoulder folds or straps; dotted border.
Reverse description: IOVI CONSERVATORI AVGG. Emperor standing right on the left, holding a sceptre and receiving Victory on a globe from Jupiter, standing left on the right and holding a long sceptre. H between the figures below; XXI in exergue.
Description and condition notes: Dark brown-grey surfaces with scattered green deposits, surface marks and localized roughness. Portrait, legends and principal reverse details remain distinguishable. Slightly irregular flan.
