Obverse description: Coiled dragon with a pearl within a beaded circle. Outer legends read 大日本 (‘Great Japan’), 明治六年 (‘Meiji year 6’) and 50 SEN, separated by circular stops. Denticled border.
Reverse description: Vertical denomination 五十錢 (‘50 sen’) beneath the imperial chrysanthemum crest, enclosed by paulownia and chrysanthemum branches tied with a ribbon. Denticled border.
Description and condition notes: Dragon-type 50 sen dated Meiji 6. Both sides show wear on raised details, fine scratches and small rim marks. Grey Toning.
